The WISEPlace guild Working Wonders for WISEPlace (WWW) fulfilled their annual fundraising event commitment by hosting a summer social in the Corona Del Mar community of Jasmine Creek. The event featured harp music, great food, a small number of vendors selling fun as well as practical items, a chance drawing, live entertainment, and was highlighted by testimonials from WISEPlace graduates and a staff person who is moving on and up. Barbara Schilling (Music from the Harp) provided harp music as the visitors arrived, Leigh Broadway (Music Under the Son) sang inspiration selections, and Renee Beard (Newport Harbor Catering and WWW member) prepared and presented the buffet luncheon.

 The WWW guild is headed by Linda Crowder (Ete' Elements to Enhance,) so the event exuded the elegance for which Linda is known. The balance of the very creative WWW group includes Terri Lee (Starlight Photography,) who provided the visuals and photographed the event, Pamla Manazer who provided the signature WISEPlace cookie thank you gift and other decorative touches, Rita Armendariz and Mya Nguyen. Staff members, Ana Hernandez, Amy Worff and Kathi Bowman also worked on the event. The vendor and chance basket sponsors were: The Bag Lady, Kris Stinson, Emin Taos, Emily Hall, Melaleuca, The Wellness Company, Jim Bowman, Just For U, Daphne Perkins, Te- Kenjutsu-Karate-Do, Pete Mangosing, Linda Crowder and Rita Armendariz. The Hair Corner did hair and make-up for the program graduate speakers.

The event not only attracted new friends to WISEPlace, but also much needed prospective members of WWW.
