For this year's Lukens Legacy Award winner, we are pleased to honor dear friends of WISEPlace.  Pete and Carmen Mangosing have been involved with WISEPlace for over 10 years. Pete serves on our Board of Directors and leads the Te-Kenjutsu-Kan Karate Do Organization. Pete and Carmen, their family, and the Karate Club are faithful partners of WISEPlace. 

 Pete is well known as our "go-to guy" for all facility related problems.  He oversees our WISE Guys Guild.  With a 50+ year old building, this is a big responsiblity, one that he takes on cheerfully.  Pete and Carmen include the women of WISEPlace in all of their organization's functions, from holiday parties to participating in learning karate.  On special occassions, we also have been fortunate to have Pete and his band MANGO play for us.  For these reasons and for all of the things they have done over the years, we are proud to present the Lukens Legacy Award to Pete and Carmen Mangosing.
